This lamps are protected against solid objects over 1 mm diameter and splashing water. That means water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect.
Protection class IP 65
This lamps are dust tight and protected against water jets. That means the lamps can be sprayed with a garden hose.
Protection class IP 67
they may at least correspond to protection class IP 67. This lamps are protected against the effect of temporary immersion in water.
Protection class IP 68
Lamps, that are continuously immersed in water as for example pond lamps may correspond to the highest ip protection class. Lamps that correspond to protection class IP 68 are protected against the effect of continuous immersion in water.
